MECCO Marking and Traceability is located in Cranberry Township, Butler County. MECCO is a leader in direct part marking, laser marking, laser engraving and dot peen machines for traceability and part verification. Their innovative solutions enable clients to permanently mark and trace just about any part especially ones that must withstand the harshest environments and processes.

MECCO was experiencing business growth and with that, came challenges. They were struggling with their legacy accounting and business IT systems and needed help identifying a new ERP system to implement.  MECCO assessed their information technology (IT) capabilities and ERP software needs. Based on the capabilities and goals of MECCO, Engleman & Associates presented a detailed implementation plan and they utilized specialized consultative services in ERP Selection and Cost Management (Soft Select).

This diligent ERP software selection process allowed MECCO to identify the final vendor for their ERP implementation.  These specialized consulting services significantly increased efficiencies and helped with overall cost savings, and cost control on seat licenses, excess module purchases, etc.  The new ERP system is now a fully integrated business system. Following this project, MECCO has continued to invest in working with Catalyst for on-going ERP roll-out support.

“We discovered we had a really good plan, but we didn’t really have the existing infrastructure or the software, an ERP system that was going to enable us to get there. As a small manufacturer, we tend to have multiple software’s for different functions – one for our CRM, one for our manufacturing, and one for our finance; all software is not really talking to one another. We were able to select an ERP software and start that implementation. The payoff is both short-term and long-term, from a capital resource but really from a human resource and how we optimize our manufacturing processes is really going to pay off for us.” Full testimonial video
