Energy Roundtable Discussion
This Shale POWER initiative provides technical assistance and business support to small and medium manufacturers and enterprises seeking to expand business, production and jobs in the burgeoning shale gas and downstream manufacturing sectors in the Appalachian region. The project is entering its fifth year, with a focus on Pennsylvania manufacturers with the greatest potential for mutual benefit from engagement with the shale industry here.
On Thursday, March 21, immediately following the Marcellus Shale Coalition’s meeting at the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, Shale Power will be hosting a lunch meeting, featuring industry representatives, from companies like yours, open to considering additional local suppliers from southwestern Pennsylvania.
- 11:30 am – Registration begins
- 11:45 am – Lunch will be served
- 12:00 pm – Program begins
- Presentations from several E&P and midstream supply chain representatives about their current programs to foster excellence in oilfield manufacturing capacity
- Short video montage from regional manufacturers showcasing how they have served Appalachia’s natural gas industry in recent years
- Roundtable discussion focused on trends that will impact the region’s supply chain and the role of manufacturing sector innovation
Time will be made available for networking among industry supply chain leaders, local manufacturers and Shale Power representatives.
