Emerging Leaders in Manufacturing Program (ELM)

Year 1 Kick-Off will begin Wednesday and Thursday

February 11 & 12, 2026 – 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Investing in Your Future Leaders

Every company has rising stars — but many small and mid-sized manufacturers lack the structure to fully develop their potential. Catalyst Connection’s Emerging Leaders in Manufacturing (ELM) Program provides a proven framework to help top performers grow personally and professionally through mission-critical topics and hands-on learning.

The Power of Mentorship

Recognizing your high-potential employees is only the first step. Guiding their growth takes intention. Having supported nearly 100 emerging leaders, Catalyst Connection has seen how effective mentorship accelerates development and strengthens outcomes. Learn more about how the Mentor’s role drives success in the ELM program below.

Helping Your Stars Shine

The 21-month ELM journey begins with a two-day immersive workshop, February 11–12, 2026, where participants identify key growth areas and explore foundational themes in strategy, leadership, talent, and culture.

Throughout the year, participants engage in seven interactive sessions, each focused on applying new insights to their unique organizational challenges. Sessions include expert instruction, peer collaboration, real-time coaching, and—when possible—on-site meetings at participating companies featuring plant tours and best-practice presentations that expand every leader’s perspective.

A Journey of Growth and Impact

The ELM program emphasizes deep learning, self-awareness, and the real-world application of leadership skills.

In Year 1, participants work closely with their ELM Mentor to create a Personal Leadership Development Plan (PLDP)—a roadmap focused on developing key soft skills, behaviors, and practices that accelerate leadership growth.

In Year 2, participants design a Performance Improvement Project, known as the ELM Legacy Project, again with active mentor involvement. This capstone project aims to both strengthen individual leadership capabilities and drive a lasting, positive impact within their organization. Participants receive ongoing coaching to help ensure meaningful results.

Program Fees and Benefits

The ELM Program is a two-year commitment with an annual fee of $4,500. This investment includes:

  • All group sessions and workshops
  • Multiple leadership assessment tools
  • Dozens of curriculum-based exercises
