*Special Offer*

Manufacturers can attend this training at no-cost thanks to SkillMill19TM @ Manufacturing Innovation Center.

For individuals who want to have a deeper understanding of how to properly calibrate measuring equipment and understand the implications of improper calibrations. This hands-on workshop offers specialized training in calibration in how to deal with out-of-calibration instruments for the individual who has some knowledge of basic Metrology. Course includes selecting the proper gage for the type of measurement, hands-on calibration and adjustments of various gages. It also covers NIST Traceability, Certificates of Conformance, gage management, and standards. This course will also review the ASME B89 standards for calibration. Participants will learn the basic requirements of proper gage calibration techniques and understand the sources of variation as well as the types of measurement error.

PROGRAM GOALS: You will…

  • Develop a Deeper Understanding of Calibration Principles
  • Strengthen the Competency in Selecting Appropriate Measuring Equipment
  • Understand the definition of calibration and calibration techniques
  • Improve Ability to Identify and Address Out-of-Calibration Instruments
  • Understand NIST Traceability and Documentation
  • Enhance Knowledge of Gage Management and Standards
  • Increase Awareness of Variation and Measurement Error Sources
  • Promote Best Practices for Maintaining Measurement System Integrity

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Engineers, Operators, Quality Techs, Supervisors, and Managers
