Lean Certification Series

The Lean Certification Series, supported by Kata practice, provides participants with a strong foundation in lean principles and hands-on experience in applying those principles.

The series includes classroom training at Catalyst Connection’s offices and optional online coaching sessions. During these coaching sessions, participants will present project outcomes and share personal experiences, including successes and challenges. This program prepares participants to apply lean principles effectively and take an active role in their organization’s continuous improvement efforts.

Lean Certification Requirements:

  • Attendance at all classroom sessions
  • Participation in roundtable discussions
  • On-site project implementation
  • Public presentation of project outcomes
  • Completion of a written exam

Classroom Instruction Covers:

  • Value Stream Mapping and A3 Thinking
  • Lean Essentials and Project Planning for Implementation
  • The 5S System for Workplace Organization and Visual Management
  • Root Cause Analysis and Kata practices for sustaining improvements
  • Standard Work and Leader Standard Work
  • Team project presentation and final exam for certification
