Business Navigator Accelerator Program (BNAP)

About the Program

The Business Navigator Accelerator Program (BNAP) is an exciting Catalyst Connection initiative funded by the Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council. Through this Program, Catalyst will assist small, diverse, and underserved businesses to help them grow their business, develop and launch new products, improve their bottom line, and obtain critical business skills. The BNAP is focused on helping women- and/or minority-owned businesses in Allegheny County.

How it Works

  • Women- and/or minority-owned, small manufacturers located in Allegheny County request assistance.
  • Catalyst Connection staff conduct a call/site visit to identify the company’s particular needs and confirm the project’s potential for quantifiable impact.
  • A no cost proposal and scope of work is developed. Once the company and Catalyst Connection reach agreement on the project scope, the proposal is signed, and a kick-off meeting is scheduled.
  • An application is completed by those companies who wish to apply for one of five $2,500 mini-grants.
  • Six to twelve months after completion of the project, the company completes a secure, confidential on-line survey documenting the economic impacts of the project.
