Effective Root Cause & Corrective Action Training

Achieving effective corrective action requires a thorough investigation of potential causes, followed by a detailed analysis to identify the root cause(s). This session will cover some of the most practical and effective tools for generating potential causes, such as brainstorming, 5-Why analysis, Is/Is Not, and 8D. Real-world examples will illustrate the application of these tools, along with techniques for selecting corrective actions and overcoming constraints. Participants will also learn about the characteristics of systems that promote continual improvement versus those that drain resources without delivering results.

Benefits of Attending

By attending, participants will gain hands-on experience with several common root cause and corrective action (RC/CA) tools that can be applied in their own companies to drive permanent improvements. The session will emphasize the distinction between meaningful solutions and superficial fixes.
