This introductory course explores the principles of statistical thinking as a foundation for problem-solving and business process improvement, with a special focus on manufacturing organizations. Participants will learn how to apply both graphical and statistical methods to real-world challenges. The class concludes with a collaborative group exercise and an optional individual project using company-provided data.
All in-class exercises will be conducted in Excel using plots and Data Analysis tools. A basic working knowledge of Excel is required.
