Mr. Weidman brings over 30 years’ experience as a successful executive technology entrepreneur, having served as a c-level leader, executive manager, founder, and strategic planner & adviser, board member, and angel & venture investor. He is a leader who thrives when building a high performance team! His primary objective is to help other entrepreneurs build great sustaining ventures.
Prior to joining Catalyst Connection, Mr. Weidman demonstrated expert level strategic planning and corporate development skills as founder and CEO of several successful technology ventures, as well as being strategic adviser, investor, and board member at many more companies. In these roles he excelled at building high performance teams, launched numerous successful products, closed nearly $400 million in financing and acquisition transactions, and achieved multiple successful exits. He has significant hands-on expertise with strategic business models in technology domains such as autonomous intelligent software, robotics and embedded hardware technology, internet of things, cloud computing and cyber security, additive manufacturing, and industrial manufacturing markets. He co-invented Patent Number 7266805 – Systems and Methods for Generating Software and Hardware Builds.
Mr. Weidman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drake University and a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Iowa. Mr. Weidman also has served as judge, advisor, mentor and coach at many business plan development and pitch competitions.
