Ignite the Impact of Your Women Leaders
We are pleased to introduce Catalyst Connection’s new Women in Leadership series. This program will offer a yearlong learning journey and will arm women with actionable strategies for accelerating their careers based on the very latest in research and today’s best practices. Powered by DDI content, these sessions provide personal discovery, reflection/insight, and application, using experiential activities, peer coaching, and self-insight tools. Participants will gain their greatest learning from networking with one another as well as Catalyst Connection’s network of female leaders in manufacturing.
January 22nd This initial kickoff session will run from 8:30am to 2:30pm. – Kickoff and Ignite Your Impact Assessment
Participants will take part in an Ignite Your Impact Assessment that will objectively create insight that becomes a catalyst for development, creating individual buy-in and generating commitment to personal growth. They will also share an introductory presentation that covers their background, company, role, experience level, and statement of intent describing what they expect to learn from the program.
The series will continue with sessions from 8:30 AM until 11:30 AM according to the following schedule:
February 26th – Radiate Confidence
Participants explore the neuroscience behind women and confidence, quieting the inner critic and conquering self-doubt to advance their career path. They also immerse themselves in a challenging, real-life scenario in which they identify specific tactics for leaning in to confidence.
March 18th – Declare Your Brand
Participants take an in-depth look at what they value most, connect with their purpose as a leader, and craft a personal brand statement that embodies the impact they want to achieve in the workplace.
April 22nd – Influence Your Career
Waving a wand won’t make a dream opportunity magically appear. It takes asking for what you want and being bold. Participants identify their “bold ask,” the key people they need to influence, and the strategies and techniques for capturing the hearts and minds of even their most skeptical stakeholders.
May 20th – Communication: Connecting through Conversations – Part 1
Participants will learn how to conduct conversations that achieve the intended business goals, communicate and respond in ways that meet the unique personal needs of team members and others, recognize and react to emotions (their own and others’) present in work situations and use a technique to provide meaningful, supportive feedback.
June 17th – Communication: Connecting through Conversations – Part 2
July and August – OFF
September 23rd – Fail Forward
It’s not about failing; it’s about learning and growing as a leader. Participants explore the consequences of fear and failure and the impact a fixed versus growth mind-set can have on their ability to take risks. They learn how to mitigate those risks by forming a safety net that enables them to jump into the unknown…and achieve extraordinary things!
October 21st – Superpower Your Network
Yes, it is who you know. Participants explore five kinds of networks they need to nurture to develop their career. More importantly, they learn how to sell their value to potential champions to receive that invitation to connect, and stay connected.
November 18th – Participant Experience Presentations and Graduation Celebration

This Women in Leadership series is for aspiring women leaders, formal women leaders, high-potential women, early professionals, champions of diversity and inclusion and their male allies.
Early bird discount of $2,450 if you register by December 31, 2019. After that date the fee is $2,950.
Note the January 22nd kick off session will run 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Continuing sessions will run 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
