The Emerging Leader in Manufacturing (ELM) Program is suggested for any person in a manufacturing company who has been identified with future potential to contribute at the mid- senior- or executive-level. Employees in this program are likely already leading others in a formal or informal role and have 5-10 years of professional work experience. They have shown potential for growth but will benefit from peer to peer learning and additional professional development.
The ELM Program begins with an immersive two-day workshop covering critical topics in strategy, leadership talent and culture. Participants meet in seven half day meetings throughout the year that allow for hands on practice of their new skills via peer to peer learning and networking. Each meeting focus on a topic that includes expert speakers, group discussion and exercises.
Participants in the ELM program will pay an annual fee. Annual fee covers the immersion workshop, peer to peer networking meetings, coaching, and project support. In addition, participants are guaranteed a seat in all Catalyst Connection public trainings (fees may apply).
It is expected that it will take two years to complete the customized professional development plan agreed to by Catalyst Connection and the participant. Participants are encouraged to continue in their peer to peer networking groups while completing their professional development plans. Those that complete the immersion workshop, peer to peer networking, on-site project and professional development plan earn a Catalyst Connection certificate recognizing them as an Emerging Leader in Manufacturing.
