What makes this career opportunity unique?  Our Consultants are responsible for managing client engagements with an emphasis on the client’s continuous improvement through stream-lining operations (Lean, KATA, and more), technology adoption and innovation. The successful candidate will work with a team of manufacturing consultants to meet with senior leaders to discover business needs and opportunities, and then collaborates with Catalyst’s inside and outside resources to develop and implement consulting projects that create significant impact for the regions manufacturers. The consulting team develops training resources, develops and delivers tools and training materials, maintains contact with manufacturing clients and provides support during all phases of client engagements.

The candidate will be mentored by industry leading senior consultants to conduct the following primary responsibilities:

  • Listen and provide expert advice to senior leaders. Conduct assessments, provide recommendations and execute customized scopes of work to help clients achieve their desired goals.
  • Develop materials, tools and conduct training and coaching to help clients adopt best practices in operations including Lean, KATA, and advanced manufacturing technologies like automation, additive manufacturing, collaborative robotics and the industrial internet of Things to help clients in their respective adoption curves.
  • Provide project management and coordinate service delivery activities of industry-leading senior consultants and external resources.

Your background must demonstrate knowledge of manufacturing strategy operational improvements and new technologies.

The successful candidate will possess a BS in engineering or related field, MBA degree a plus. The candidate should have 1 to 3 years of related experience. You should be self-motivated, have a dynamic presence, and exceptional written and verbal communications skills. The ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential.
