Value Methodology Webinar - Part 1

Catalyst Connection is partnering with Bolton Value Consulting to provide the Value Methodology (VM) Webinar Series to assist companies with improving profitability and/or market share. This first webinar of the series will introduce participants to the Value Methodology.

Topics will include:

  • History of Value Methodology
  • Where to use Value Methodology
  • An overview of the VM tools
  • Applications and advantages of VM
  • Success stories and results which Bolton Value Consulting (BVC) has been able to achieve with client support over the last 21 years 

A variety of uses, tools, and specific case studies which have demonstrated the power of this methodology will be shared during this initial training session.

About the Presenter:
James D. Bolton, PE, CVS-Life, the President and Owner of Bolton Value Consulting, LLC, has worked with many organizations globally for 20+ years to build successful and sustainable internal Value Methodology programs.  Mr. Bolton initially built an internal Value Methodology program at TRW Automotive from scratch starting in January 1997 and when he left for Whirlpool Corporation in January 2008, there was an internal VM department at TRW with 78 full time employees globally saving the company $146M per year.  At Whirlpool Corporation, Jim was given the opportunity to build another internal Value Methodology program scratch, where he trained and supported Regional VM Managers in all regions of the world. These Regional VM Managers where responsible for initiating, organizing and leading many value studies which globally helped Whirlpool Corporation save $43M per year.  In July 2014, Jim began his own Value Consulting business and has since helped many additional organization utilize VM and build their own internal VM programs.  Jim is a Past President of SAVE International(R) (the global Value Methodology technical society) and is currently the Executive Director of the Miles Value Foundation.
