Scott has been involved in human resource and workforce education, with expertise in the manufacturing, retail, financial, and consulting industries, since 2001. As a recruiter for Mellon Financial Corporation, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and a small consulting firm, Scott has delivered training, developed internship programs, and conducted outreach with local nonprofit organizations and youth programs.
Since joining Catalyst Connection, he has created a successful internship program, which is co-sponsored by Innovation Works, the region’s largest investor in seed-stage companies. He serves as a liaison between industry and education for projects such as Adventures in Technology and the Manufacturing Pathways Initiative. In his current role with Catalyst Connection, he is the manager of workforce initiatives and is responsible for programs including Adventures in Technology, the IT Industry Partnership, and the Life Sciences 2+2+2 program, as well as collegiate and K-12 outreach and job fairs. He holds B.S. and B.A. degrees in human resource management from Robert Morris University.
