Six Sigma Training, Certification and Consulting
Catalyst Connection can show you how to eliminate defects, improve throughput, and reduce costs by applying the principles of Six Sigma, a disciplined, data-driven approach for eliminating defects in manufacturing or transactional processes. It can improve performance in almost any business, whether the deliverables are products or services.
Originally developed for the assembly line, this methodology has spread throughout the corporate world. Hundreds of consultants offer training, but none can match our experience with small-to-medium-scale manufacturing. We’ve watched Six Sigma evolve in a wide variety of settings, and we’ve distilled a real-world set of best practices that match the conditions that Pittsburgh-area manufacturers face every day.
Our approach introduces best practices, including statistical methods; follows a well-defined sequence of steps; and aims at financial targets such as cost reduction or increased profit. VPs, quality managers, software engineers, and many other decision-makers apply what they learn to processes that range from customer service to human resources and accounting.
We start by teaching your organization’s senior managers about Six Sigma’s power and the tools and structures behind it. Then they select an in-house team of leaders who will earn certification as champions, black belts, and green belts. We show these mid-level leaders how to identify and remove the causes of defects through clearly defined projects, and to follow up with a dedication to continuous improvement.
Is your company ready to try Six Sigma? Have you implemented it, only to encounter failed projects or stalled initiatives? Catalyst Connection can assist you at any stage of your initiative with:
